Been reading that sake is having a little bit of a moment right now and trying to get into it. I tried a cheap single cup in an anime ramen cup and then I have this bottle of fuki junmai. Not looking to get spendy, just decent budget options to see if I like it, this one is ok and a lot less sweet than the first but I would still prefer less sweetness. For this one I just went with the cheap option that was almost sold out, anybody got better ideas?

I dont know much about Sake but I do know I love it with either Pho or sushi.  I usually get the warmed up kind.

Same as opposaurus.  Don’t know what I’m drinking, but I know I like it.

I almost the gekkeikan last time but didn't want to get too carried away before I tried it, so that'll probably be next then thanks!

Dassai (39 or 50 Junmai Daiginjo) has been one of our regular go-tos, though it might not quite fit here, being a not-quite-budget ($40-60 / 720ml ) option that is semi-sweet.

Best fit I can think of given the description here is Otokoyama (Tokubetsu Junmai), which clocks in around $30-40 for 720ml . Flavor is on the lighter side and balanced really well between sweet and dry. We use it regularly to cook and/or drink.
